What you are signing up for
FROM (yes, all caps, we know) is the MGM+ sci-fi horror where strangers get stuck in a town that refuses exits, then learn the woods after dark are worse than the HOA meeting. John Griffin created it; it first hit Epix in 2022 before the network became MGM+. Harold Perrineau leads the ensemble as Boyd Stevens, the guy trying to keep people alive when the town keeps moving the goalposts.
Why we keep doing this to ourselves
It is survival horror with homework. Every week adds a rule, a symbol, or a neighbor who might be lying for sane reasons. You finish an episode, open your group chat, and suddenly it is 2 a.m. and you are still debating a tree. That is the point.

- Shot in Nova Scotia, including practical township work around the Beaver Bank area so the place feels lived in, not green-screened.
- In April 2026, MGM+ renewed the show for a fifth and final season. Press quotes from the team describe five seasons as the planned shape of the story.

Sun goes down, the forest gets loud, and the practical creature work still creeps you out even when you are pausing to screenshot a theory. The show keeps asking what they are, what they were, and which rules they actually follow.
